Polygonum Baldschuanicum 

(or Bilderdyxia baldschuanica), a perennial climbing plant of the genus Polygonum, family Polygonaceae.

The lower part of the stem of P. baldschuanicum is woody. The plant is 6–15 m tall. The leaves are cordate and ovate. The flowers are small (5–8 mm). They are white at first and then turn red, and they are gathered in large panicles. P. baldschuanicum is a long-flowering plant. Its native habitat is Middle Asia (Pamiro-Alai). P. baldschuanicum is grown as a decorative plant in the USSR and Western European countries.
