HPUK operates the Port of Felixstowe, Thamesport (London) and Harwich International Port. In March, HPH outfitted its European ports -- Europe Container Terminals (ECT) at the Port of Rotterdam, Europe's largest port, and the Port of Felixstowe (PFL), the United Kingdom's largest port -- with the automated security network infrastructure, which includes the advanced tracking software and automatic identification systems for real-time cargo visibility, detection of tampering events and end-to-end audit trails from origin to destination. In the United Kingdom (UK), the Group's container terminals (90% owned) at the Port of Felixstowe and Thamesport reported combined throughput growth of 10% compared to the same period last year and combined EBIT 43% above of last year's. |
