pot still [′pät ‚stil]
(food engineering)
A type of still in which the heat from a flame is applied directly to the pot containing the wash; used in the distillation of Irish grain whiskey and Scotch malt whiskey.

Tito's Handmade Vodka from Austin, TX, is distilled from corn, six times in pot stills, and filtered through activated charcoal, although that step has not been required for many years.
