Prairie Dog State Park Location: On the north shore of Keith Sebelius Reservoir in Norton County. Facilities: 58 utility campsites, more than 130 non-utility sites, rental cabin, group campground, 2 shower buildings, nature trail, picnic shelters, swimming beach and bathhouse, 2 boat ramp lanes, courtesy dock, museum. Activities: Camping, boating, fishing, swimming, hiking, wildlife viewing, interpretive programs. Special Features: Park is home to a thriving prairie dog colony and is the site of one of the last remaining adobe house in Kansas. In addition to the renovated adobe house (originally built in the 1890s), a one-room schoolhouse is also preserved at the park.
