Pratt, Henry (Conger) (1882–1966) aviator; born in Fort Stanton, N.M. A 1904 West Point graduate, he served in the cavalry and transferred to the air service in 1920. As commander of the Air Corps Tactical School from 1936–38, Pratt trained hundreds of aviators who would serve during World War II. He held several defense commands in the U.S.A. and Caribbean during the war.
