Prensa Latina 

a Latin-American information agency, organized as a corporation of Latin-American countries. Founded in 1959, Prensa Latina (PL) is located in Havana.

PL supplies information to the press in Cuba and in other countries of Latin America. The agency has divisions and correspondents’ centers in most Latin-American countries, as well as in the countries of Europe and Africa. PL has agreements on exchanging information with TASS and other agencies of the socialist countries, as well as with various agencies of other countries. It publishes bulletins of Latin-American news in Spanish and English.

Prensa Latina news agency said Arenas Blancas and the Solymar hotel will combine to form the Barcelo Solymar-Arenas Blancas all-inclusive complex with 883 rooms.
Under the agreement, AA and Prensa Latina will be able to exchange news stories.
The EU ministers of transportation met in Spain and reached an agreement Friday that they will discuss the issue thoroughly in its Council of Ministers to be held in June, Prensa Latina reported.
