Supreme People’s Assembly 

in the Korean Democratic People’s Republic, the highest organ of state power and the only legislative organ. Delegates (one for every 50,000 people) are elected for four-year terms. The Supreme People’s Assembly elects its Presidium, which consists of the assembly’s president and vice-president, as well as members.
