Priamikov, Nikolai Nikolaevich

Priamikov, Nikolai Nikolaevich 

Born Oct. 14 (26), 1888, in Moscow; died there on Mar. 3, 1918. Member of the revolutionary movement in Russia. Member of the Communist Party from 1906. Son of a cook.

Priamikov was a worker at Moscow enterprises from 1903. He participated in the Revolution of 1905–07. He was arrested more than once and exiled. Priamikov took up party work in Moscow in 1910 and became chairman of the executive committee of the Rogozhskii district council and a member of the district committee of the RSDLP (Bolshevik) in August 1917. He was appointed chairman of the Military Revolutionary Committee of Rogozhskii District in Oct. 26 (Nov. 8), 1917, and chairman of the district cheka in February 1918. Priamikov died while liquidating a gang. He is buried in Red Square.
