Price, (Samuel Blythe) Sammy (1908–92) jazz musician; born in Honey Grove, Texas. He was a versatile pianist, singer, and dancer who began his career with Alphonso Trent from 1927 to 1930 and served as house pianist for Decca Records between 1938 and 1950.
