(Applied Mathematics and Mechanics), a scientific journal of the department of mechanics and control processes of the Academy of Sciences of the USSR. Founded in 1936, it is published in Moscow six times a year. Prikladnaia matematika i mekhanika prints articles on theoretical mechanics, aerohydrodynamics, and structural mechanics. Problems in mathematical physics and computational mathematics are also discussed. Circulation, 2,800 (1975).
