(J. A. Primo de Rivera y Saenz de Heredia). Born Apr. 24, 1903, in Madrid; died Nov. 20, 1936, in Alicante. Spanish politician and lawyer. Son of M. Primo de Rivera y Orbaneja.

On Oct. 29, 1933, Primo de Rivera founded the fascist party of the Falange Española. He was a delegate to the Cortes that was elected in November 1933. In March 1936 he was arrested by order of the government of M. Azaña y Díez in connection with the Falange’s terrorist activities. He was executed by firing squad in accordance with a sentence passed by a Republican court.
