Primorsk
(until 1949, Koivisto), a city in Vyborg Raion, Leningrad Oblast, RSFSR. Located on the northeastern shore of the Gulf of Finland. Railroad station on the Leningrad-Vyborg line. In the city there is a fish combine and a plant for the production of reinforced-concrete structural elements. Primorsk a city (since 1967), the center of Primorsk Raion, Zaporozh’e Oblast, Ukrainian SSR. Located on the Obitochnaia River in the basin of the Azov Sea, 32 km from the Elizavetovka railroad station on the Berdiansk-Verkhnii Tokmak line. Population, 11,900 (1974). Primorsk has a plant that manufactures hardware, a brickyard, and a bread-baking plant. The Nogaisk Sovkhoz-Technicum is in Primorsk. Primorsk an urban-type settlement in the Azerbaijan SSR, within the Karadag district of the city of Baku. Population, 8,100 (1974). Primorsk has enterprises that produce cement, gypsum-plaster products, and carbon black. Primorsk an urban-type settlement in Bykovo Raion, Volgograd Oblast, RSFSR. Port on the left bank of the Volgograd Reservoir, 60 km north of the Volzhskii railroad station. In Primorsk there is a branch of the Volzhskii Milk and Cheese Combine and a grain and livestock sovkhoz. Primorsk (until 1946, Fischhausen), a town in Kaliningrad Oblast, RSFSR, administered by the Svetlyi city soviet. Located on the southern coast of the Kaliningrad Peninsula.
