Pro-MPEG Forum

(Professional MPEG Forum) An organization founded in London in 1998 for the advancement of the MPEG-2 standard. The Forum helped develop the MXF file format for exchanging video production data between servers. The offices of the secretariat were located at BBC Radio Northampton. See MXF and MPEGIF.
