Prokey
An earlier keyboard macro processor for DOS and Windows from CE Software, Inc., West Des Moines, IA (www.cesoft.com) that allowed users to eliminate repetitive typing by setting up an occurrence of text or a series of commands as a macro. In 2004, a group of employees purchased the operating assets of CE Software, took the company private and renamed it Startly Technologies, LLC. Its QuicKey product line offers macro automation tools for Windows, Mac Classic OS 9 and Mac OS X.
