Castles completed the program, its whimsical Prokofiev score setting a fable atmosphere.
As guests savor their tasting experiences, they will also be treated to a musical performance featuring pianist Robert Edward Thies, Gold Medal winner of the International Prokofiev Competition, and internationally renowned violinist Philip Vaiman, a Russian-born American who continues the great Russian string-playing tradition.
Most of the scores discussed are by Mozart, Haydn, Beethoven and Schubert, but there are also examples from the music of Chopin, Johann Strauss, Prokofiev and Bartok.
