Psilander, Valdemar Einar 

Born May 9,1884, in Copenhagen; died there Mar. 6,1917. Danish film actor.

Psilander made his stage debut in 1901, and in 1910 began acting in films. He was known for the refinement, elegance, sincerity, and lyricism of his acting. His roles included Othello in Desdemona (1911), the artist Paul in The Ballerina (1911), Mark Arron in Revolutionary Wedding (1914), and the clown Joe Higgins in The Clown (1916). In 1916, Psilander organized his own company, Psilander-Film, in Copenhagen.
