| The old phrase "a chicken in every pot" has been updated in the northland to "an oil pumpjack in every yard. Four Star Oil Company, the contract operator of the wells, was directed to equip the wells with tubing, downhole pumps, rods and pumpjacks and to install flowlines to the tank batteries located on the leases. Individual well remediation includes the use of a workover rig necessary to clean up old wells, run rods and tubing and place pumpjacks on wells for production. |
