Qazaq Ädebietī

(Kazakh literature), a Kazakh literary newspaper, the organ of the Writers’ Union of Kazakhstan. Published in Alma-Ata since 1934. The appearance of a Kazakh weekly literary newspaper was an important event in the cultural life of the Kazakh people. Qazaq ädebietī publishes articles on literature and art, national culture, life-style, and economics.
