BICSI
(Building Industry Consulting Service International, Tampa, FL, www.bicsi.org) An international telecommunications association providing education, registration and resources for professionals involved in the design and installation of low-voltage distribution systems in commercial and residential buildings as well as outside plant systems.

BICSI publishes technical manuals and offers classroom and distance learning and educational conferences. The Registered Communications Distribution Designer (RCDD) and Installation Registration programs provide professional designations for applicants who demonstrate superior qualifications.
