E[acute accent]The core protocol stack functionality includes support for HCI, L2CAP, RFCOMM, OBEX, and the Service Discovery, Serial Port, Generic Object Exchange, File Transfer, Object Push, and Dial Up Networking profiles. Because both the RFCOMM and HCI variants use the same interface, it is possible for customers to easily upgrade to HCI without the need for complicated redesigning. As the VM is layered on pre-qualified RFCOMM firmware the time and cost of qualifying a new Bluetooth product is greatly reduced. |
