Radnor Lake State Park

Location: In the Overton Hills, south of metropolitan Nashville, in the community of Oak Hill.
Facilities: Hiking trails.
Activities: Hiking, wildlife viewing, interpretive programs.
Special Features: Park is one of the largest pockets of wilderness in the US in close proximity to a major city, providing scenic, biological, geological, and passive recreational opportunities not usually found in metropolitan areas of Nashville's size. The park is managed as a nature sanctuary, and its trails can be used only for hiking and wildlife observation.
