Ramon’

an urban-type settlement and administrative center of Ramon’ Raion, Voronezh Oblast, RSFSR. Ramon’ is located on the right bank of the Voronezh River (a tributary of the Don), 2 km from the Ramon’ railroad station and 60 km north of Voronezh. The settlement has a sugar refinery, a milk plant, and a factory for the production of art objects. Near Ramon’ are located the All-Russian Research Institute of Sugar Beets and Sugar, the All-Russian Research Institute of Plant Protection, the Berezovo Agricultural Technicum, and a poultry farm.
