Ramspeck, Robert C. (Word) (1890–1972) U.S. representative; born in Decatur, Ga. A government employee, realtor, and lawyer (1920–29), he served in Congress (Dem., Ga.; 1929–45) where he was majority whip, leaving to become vice-president of Eastern Air Lines (1953–61).
