Ray Roberts Lake State Park Location: Park consists of two main units around Ray Roberts Lake: The Isle du Bois Unit is located on Farm Road 455, 10 miles east of I-35 on the south side of the lake; the Johnson Branch Unit is located on Farm Road 3002, 7 miles east of I-35, on the north side of the lake. Facilities: Campsites with water and electricity hookups, tent camping, primitive campsites, horsemen's camp, group camp, showers, restrooms, lodge, picnic areas, day-use group facilities, hiking trails, bike trails, bridle trails, beaches, marina, boat ramps, boat rentals, fishing piers, restaurant, park store, playgrounds. Activities: Camping, boating, canoeing, fishing, swimming, hiking, bicycling, mountain biking, horseback riding, inline skating. Special Features: Situated along the shores of a 30,000-acre reservoir, the park complex consists of two state park units, six satellite parks, wildlife management units, wetlands, waterfowl sanctuaries, and the 20-mile Ray Roberts Lake/Lake Lewisville Greenbelt Corridor.
