Raymond, Antonin

(1888–1976)
Bohemian-born American architect who assisted Cass Gilbert in the design of the Woolworth Building (1912), NYC, then joined Frank Lloyd Wright in the building of the Imperial Hotel in Tokyo, Japan. He designed other structures in Japan, including the Reader’s Digest Building in Tokyo (1950) and the campus of the Nanzan University, Nagoya (1966). He also designed the Pan Pacific Forum, University of Hawaii (1969), Honolulu, HI.
