RealPlayer
A multimedia player from RealNetworks that plays RealAudio and RealVideo transmissions. Included is the technology (see RealJukebox) for organizing music files and creating MP3 files from audio CDs. The name was changed to RealOne in 2001 along with several refinements and later renamed back to RealPlayer. See RealAudio and RealVideo.

RealNetworks has issued fixes for four critical vulnerabilities in its RealPlayer program.
RealNetworks Inc has confirmed that there is a critical buffer overrun hole in the beta version of RealPlayer 10, RealPlayer 8, RealOne, RealPlayer Enterprise, which could allow an attacker to run code on vulnerable machines via a malformed R3T media file.
Envivio's advanced software allows users to view standardized MPEG-4 audio and video as well as mixed media through the RealPlayer and RealOnePlayer, which represent the world's largest streaming media subscriber base of more than 235 million registered users.
