It winds through the 700,000-acre Daniel Boone National Forest, a rugged area characterized by steep forested ridges, narrow valleys, and more than 3,400 miles of cliffline. Area provides opportunities for outdoor adventure such as canoeing, rock climbing, and kayaking.
Legth: 46 miles. Start/Endpoint: Follows KY 11, KY 715, and KY 15 from Stanton to Zachariah, Kentucky. Time to Allow: 1 hour. Designation/Year: National Scenic Byway (2002).
