Reeds Gap State Park Location: 7 miles from Milroy, off US 322. Facilities: Tent campsites, showers, flush toilets, picnic areas, picnic pavilions, hiking trails (4 miles), swimming pools (é), bathhouse, snack bar, playground. Activities: Camping, fishing, swimming, hiking, hunting, cross-country skiing. Special Features: Reeds Gap is a natural water gap in Hightop, also called Thick Mountain. In the mid-1800s the park's namesakes set up a water-powered sawmill just inside the western boundary of the present park, and part of the water-storage dam is still visible along the Honey Creek Trail loop.
