reef knoll [′rēf ‚nōl]
(geology) A bioherm or fossil coral reef represented by a small, prominent, rounded hill, up to 330 feet (100 meters) high, consisting of resistant reef material, being either a local exhumation of an original reef feature or a feature produced by later erosion.
