The addRequestHeader() method insufficiently secures itself, providing a way around a security restriction that does not permit developers to use addRequestHeader() to set headers such as Host, Referer or Content-Length. WebWasher Classic filters unwanted advertising banners, pop-ups, animations, JavaScripts and Java applets as well as cookies, referers and Web bugs from Web sites. Special filters for media types, embedded objects, web bugs, referers, and cookies provide additional security. |
