reflecting telescope [ri′flek·tiŋ ′tel·ə‚skōp]
(optics)
A telescope in which a concave parabolic mirror gathers light and forms a real image of an object. Also known as reflector telescope.

Reflective telescopes Telescopes that use mirrors to focus light instead of refractive lenses have a distinct advantage of allowing much larger lenses to be created.
This spinning liquid would provide the same shape of the concave mirrors that are used in a reflective telescope.
Typical projects include on-axis telescopes, off-axis reflective telescopes, eyepieces and many other types of relay optics.
