Reflector Marker

(also reflector), a device for the reflection of light whose rays are directed on the device by an external source. Reflector markers permit the objects on which they are mounted to be more quickly noticed when it is dark. They are placed at the rear of vehicles used on public roads. Reflector markers are also used on road signs to improve the visibility of the signs.
