| When in operation, the Kaduna oil refinery supplies reformate and paraffin-based kerosine from Venezuela's Lagomar crude oil, for production of linear alkyl benzene (LAB), heavy alkylate and benzene. Since the reformate (which is injected directly in the exhaust system) is rich in hydrogen and carbon monoxide, harmful emissions are reduced and the gas can be used to regenerate the NOx absorbers and particulate filter. Additionally, the trading and supply team is finding greater flexibility in optimizing intermediate products such as naphtha and reformate around our west coast assets. |
