The following sailing regattas are held annually in the USSR: the Volga, which has been held since 1937 on the Volga River at Saratov, Kuibyshev, Gorky, and other cities; the Baltic, held since 1945 in the Gulf of Riga and the Gulf of Finland; and the Black Sea, held since 1946 at Sevastopol’, Odessa, and Yalta.
