Regge recurrence [′reg·ə ri‚kər·əns] (particle physics) One of a sequence of hadrons, with successive hadrons increasing by one in spin and also increasing in mass, but with the same values of other quantum numbers, except for parity, charge parity and G parity, which alternate in sign; it is believed that they are rotationally excited states of a particle, and that they alternate between two Regge trajectories.
