(statistics)
The straight line running among the points of a scatter diagram about which the amount of scatter is smallest, as defined, for example, by the least squares method.

The first regression model included age, FuglMeyer UE motor component score, change in MALa scores over 4 to 6 months, and raw follow-up MALa score.
A linear regression model and an ordinal logistic regression model were also attempted; however, these models could not be used because the outcome data were not normally distributed and could not be transformed appropriately for linear regression and because the assumptions for the ordinal logistic regression model could not be satisfied.
A logistic regression model identified several associations among demographic and psychosocial variables for not using condoms during sexual intercourse.
