Reliability Service 

in the USSR, the complex of production and research sections of an enterprise whose functions include the planning, organization, and execution of measures to ensure and monitor a prescribed level of reliability in the technical equipment in the enterprise.

A reliability service is set up to unify and coordinate the work of reliability departments, offices, and groups and of the subdivisions concerned with inspection of the goods received and produced by the enterprise. The service also includes the departments that perform tests on finished products to measure alignment, performance, and service life. The work of the groups of specialists in the production and research sections concerned with improving reliability and the work of the maintenance and repair subdivisions is also unified and coordinated by the reliability service.

The worldwide equipment condition monitoring services company Azima DLI has announced its enhanced Watchman[TM] Reliability Services.
The contract reportedly calls for American to provide engineering, planning, technical and reliability services, certain component and landing gear repair and overhauls.
