Repeinik
the Russian collective name for plants having clinging fruits. Plants of the genera Arctium, Agrimonia, and Carduus are most often called repeiniki. The name derives from the unique way in which the fruits are disseminated—by hooking onto clothing and animal fur. Want to thank TFD for its existence?
