Reva, Konstantin Kuz’mich
Born Apr. 10, 1921, in the village of Sukhodol, now in Glukhov Raion, Sumy Oblast. Soviet athlete (volleyball). Honored Master of Sports (1947). Member of the CPSU since 1943. Reva graduated from the Air Force Academy in 1952. From 1963 to 1971 he was a senior instructor at the Lenin Military Political Academy. He was champion of the USSR and as a member of the national volleyball team of the USSR, he was champion eight times from 1940 to 1958, of Europe in 1950 and 1951, and of the world in 1949 and 1952.
