Reynolds, David Parham (1915– ) metals executive; born in Bristol, Tenn. (son of Richard S. Reynolds Sr.). He joined the family firm, Reynolds Metals Co. (1937), eventually becoming variously chairman and CEO (1976–88). His innovative marketing—including the introduction of Reynolds Wrap (1947), aluminum soft-drink cans, and inexpensive metal recycling—created major growth in the post-World War II aluminum industry.
