Reynolds, Quentin (1902–65) journalist, author; born in Bronx, N.Y. He served as a European-based World War II correspondent for Collier's magazine and wrote several books on his observations, including The Wounded Don't Cry (1941). His career was dampened by accusations of laxity and cowardice by columnist Westbrook Pegler, whom he successfully sued for heavy damages in a celebrated libel case.
