Facilities: 217 campsites (54 with electrical hookups), 6 group camps, showers, picnic area, hiking trails (16 miles), nature trails (2 miles), bridle trails (13 miles), mountain bike trails (10 miles), snowmobile trails (12 miles), ski trails (15 miles), snowshoeing trails (10 miles), ATV trails (7 miles), shoreline, nature center, auditorium, boat launch, volleyball nets, ballfield, horsehoe pits, fishing pier (é). Activities: Camping (including winter camping), canoeing, fishing, swimming, hiking, mountain biking, horseback riding, motorcycling, hunting, ATV riding, cross-country skiing, snowmobiling, year-round naturalist programs, hang gliding, hot-air ballooning, model airplane flying. Special Features: Property was originally cleared to become a military base, but was later converted to open parkland. It was the state's first recreation area.
