Riumin, Valerii Viktorovich
Born Aug. 16, 1939, in Komsomol’sk-na-Amure. Pilot-cosmonaut of the USSR. Member of the CPSU since 1972. Riumin graduated from the Moscow Forest Engineering Institute in 1966 and joined the staff of a design office. He was named a cosmonaut in 1973. From Oct. 9 to Oct. 11, 1977, Riumin was V. V. Kovalenok’s flight engineer aboard the Soyuz 25 spacecraft. His flight time was 48 hr 46 min. Riumin has been awarded the Order of Lenin. Want to thank TFD for its existence?
