rlogin (Remote LOGIN) A Unix command that allows users to remotely log in to a server in the network as if they were at a terminal directly connected to that computer. Rlogin is similar to the Telnet command, except that rlogin also passes information to the server about the type of client machine, or terminal, used. See rsh, Telnet and SSH.
