In 1965-1966 he was a member of a team from Columbia University School of Business teaching at Robert College in Istanbul, Turkey.
Erman, a professor at Koc University, Istanbul, Turkey, earned his undergraduate and Masters degrees in Civil Engineering at Robert College in Istanbul.
