Rodgers, Bill, 1947–, American distance runner, b. Hartford, Conn. He helped to popularize distance running in the U.S. He won the Boston Marathon and the New York City Marathon four times each between 1975 and 1980.
Rodgers, (William Henry) Bill (1947–  ) marathon runner; born in Hartford, Conn. He won the New York and Boston marathons four times each between 1975 and 1980. After retiring from active racing he opened a chain of sports gear shops.
