Rosemead, city (1990 pop. 51,638), Los Angeles co., SW Calif., a suburb of Los Angeles; founded 1867, inc. 1959. Mainly residential, Rosemead grew rapidly in the late 20th cent. There is directory publishing and the manufacture of furniture and electronic components.
