On December 26, 2002, the Company announced that the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission issued a subpoena relating to round trip trades between Westar and one of its trading partners.
Reliant also indicated it was to submit restated financial statements for 1999, 2000 and other quarters of 2001 to correct revenues, fuel and cost of gas sold and purchased power expenses to reflect the round trip trades during the three-year period.
The CFTC made no findings against Dynegy with respect to round trip trades, which were also a focus of the CFTC's now-concluded investigation.
