When followed correctly, it allows you to use the RS485 PCMCIA card to conduct intrusive diagnostics of the chassis electronic systems through the maintenance support device (MSD).
The system has a monitoring range of up to 3,000 feet and is equipped with a fully-integrated sensor and battery-powered field transceivers; a base radio transceiver with RS232, RS485 (digital), Ethernet and/or 4-20 mA (analog) output; software for data management and exception reporting; and full assimilation of legacy systems.
The PIC18FXX39 also feature three all-purpose 16-bit timers, analog to digital converter (A/D) up to 8 channels, 10-bit resolution, addressable USART module supporting RS485 and RS232, programmable 16-level low-voltage detection module (PLVD) and a wide operating voltage range of 2.
