Rudinì, Antonio Starrabba, marchese diRudinì, Antonio Starrabba or Starabba, marchese di (äntô`nyō stäräb`bä märkā`zā dē r dēnē`), 1839–1908, Italian political leader. A Sicilian revolutionist, he was mayor of Palermo (1864), prefect of Naples (1868), minister of the interior (1869), and twice premier (1891–92, 1896–98) as the leader of the right. He renewed the Triple Alliance (1891) and attempted a rapprochement with France.
